Adoration, Loyalty and Longevity

All of this cold weather we have going on here, and then the warm, and then the cold weather returning has me reminiscing about the warm summer days. Don’t get me wrong, when it’s hot…I’ll complain that it’s too darn hot. But for right now, I’ll think fondly of the warm days.

Last summer while on a quest for free things to do in the upper South Carolina area I came upon a sunflower field where people swear the best pictures are taken. So, off we went in like 98-degree heat and found said sunflower fields. I don’t know if you’ve ever stumbled upon a sunflower field but it’s beautiful. So beautiful that I think it should be prescribed by doctors to give everyone hope and joy.

This field was located in McConnells, SC at the Draper Wildlife Management. The teacup humans loved checking out the giant sunflowers that were bigger than their heads. They also had rows of corn that they though were hilarious to get lost in and I had to run through to find them. ha ha ha. <— Sarcasm.

This summer we will go back, and bring cold water, lunch and make a picnic out of it.
